I turned to Pilates in 2011 to heal chronic back pain and quickly experienced its transformative power. Inspired to share this gift, I began teacher training just six months later. I view Pilates as a lifelong journey of learning and growth—one that continues to enrich my life in profound and lasting ways–and believe deeply in its lasting relevance and its remarkable ability to heal.
I earned my Comprehensive Peak Pilates Certification in 2015 and deepened my knowledge of the Pilates method’s history and principles through the Kathy Grant Heritage Training with Cara Reeser in 2018. I further honed my expertise by completing the Movement Science Made Simple series, taught by Cara Reeser and Jeremy Laverdure, DPT, which focuses on biomechanics and functional movement. In 2023, I completed the Pilates Professional Advanced Teacher Training (PPATT)—The Red Thread—with Kathryn Ross-Nash, whose ongoing guidance has greatly influenced my teaching and reinforced my commitment to the Classical Pilates Method.
I strive to create a welcoming space where clients of all levels can explore movement with confidence, tailoring even group classes to individual needs. My focus is on helping clients discover strength, freedom, and joy in their bodies. I believe wholeheartedly that Pilates can transform lives, one mindful movement at a time.
I am a mother of two and outdoor enthusiast. Before becoming a co-owner of Canopy Pilates, I owned and operated Peak Bodies Pilates, a successful studio in Bozeman, Montana, for eight years.
